Artwork Pick-up: Exhibition deinstall Sat 9th Jan, pickup Sunday 10th January.

Opening Night: Christmas Pageant December 19th

Art in Shopfronts is an exhibition of local creative works along the main street of Burnt Pine, held in shop windows. The theme is ‘Woven Worlds’ and while this will include natural fibre weaving, it isn’t limited to this:  it can also be photographs, drawings, paintings, linoprints, sculptures, wall-hangings, poems, films etc with a general ‘woven’ subject matter or theme (a woven story perhaps, or lacemaking or crochet, as long as it’s made by you). There will be a map of works & a treasure hunt for kids.

All work should be suitable for display in a shop window, many can only fit an A3 or smaller work but some have space for a mannequin etc so please get in touch with us about your ideas!  Works will not be for sale, but we are happy to put buyers in contact with you directly, and the information below (except for the phone #) will go in the window with the work. A limit of one artwork per person, although this can include a series (ie a set of small plates, woven items or linocuts) unless previously discussed.
